Lynne Strong has been a certified driving instructor for 18 years.  After working most of those years for an internationally operated driving instruction school, she decided it was time to try this on her own.

So in March of 2008 she approached the CBDC about her business idea, demonstrated a commitment to making this enterprise a success, and demonstrated clear market potential for this business along the Baccalieu Trail, especially in the Bay Roberts-Carbonear area.

The CBDC Trinity Conception was happy to support Lynne through a SEED Capital loan and through SEB support to allow Strong Drivers to open for business in May of 2008.

Strong Drivers provides training for novice drivers, refresher lessons for experienced drivers, and instruction for disabled drivers who need added vehicle controls.  Through classroom and in-vehicle training, Lynne is helping her clients succeed in becoming licensed, safe drivers.

Business is going very well and Lynne’s latest dream is to add a driving simulator to her classroom so that she continues to be competitive and abreast of the trends in the modern market.
