CBDC Trinity Conception

The Community Youth Coordinator Program consists of two Community Youth Coordinators with one operating from CBDC Trinity Conception (CBDC), Carbonear and the other at the SPLASH Centre, Harbour Grace.

CBDC Trinity Conception and Human Resources Labour and Employment (HRLE) are partnering members in this initiative providing support and services through the Community Youth Coordinators, who are responsible for the promotion of the programs and services of the Baccalieu Trail Youth Employment Centre (BTYEC), CBDC and HRLE. To date, there have been in excess of 1,927 participants in 57 sessions, that program coordinators have made contact with in a substantial manner. In addition, there are 165 clients with whom the coordinators have directly worked and have referred to the appropriate services. Some clients and participants continue to work with the coordinators, as well as the appropriate service agency, to meet their needs. These service agencies include HRLE, Service Canada, CBDC, Employment Assistance Services (EAS), the Baccalieu Trail Youth Employment Centre (BTYEC), etc.
